Connecting your Shopify store to Inboxgeek takes less than two minutes! Since our app integrates seamlessly with Shopify’s modern Theme Editor, there is no code to touch and no complicated dashboards to navigate.

Follow these simple steps to get your tracking script live.

Step 1: Install the App

1. Click on your custom Inboxgeek Shopify Installation link (Note to you: insert your app’s install link here).

2. You will be redirected to your Shopify admin panel.

3. Review the permissions and click the green Install app button in the top right corner.

Step 2: Open Your Theme Editor

Once the app is installed, you need to turn the script on for your storefront.

1. In your Shopify Admin, go to Online Store > Themes on the left-hand menu.

2. Find your current, live theme and click the Customize button.

Step 3: Enable the Inboxgeek App Embed

1. Inside the Theme Editor, look at the far-left sidebar and click on the App embeds icon (it looks like a square block with a plus or sparkle icon).

2. Scroll down until you see Inboxgeek Script.

3. Toggle the switch next to it to the ON position.

Step 4: Add Your Unique Source ID

1. With the toggle turned on, click directly on the words Inboxgeek Script to expand its settings menu.

2. You will see a text box labeled Source ID [Code].

3. Paste your unique Inboxgeek Source ID into this box. (You can find this ID in your main Inboxgeek account dashboard).

Step 5: Save and Go Live!

1. Click the Save button in the top right corner of the Shopify Theme Editor.

2. That’s it! Your Inboxgeek tracking script is now securely injected into your website’s header and will begin tracking immediately.

Troubleshooting: If you ever change your Shopify theme, simply repeat Steps 2 through 5 on your new theme to ensure the script continues to run seamlessly!
